We would have congragulated Mr. Kenyatta if he won fairly, African President

Addis Ababa Ethiopia - The President of African Union HE. Alpha Conde has today said that AU may not recognize Kenya's President-elect Mr. Kenyatta.

Speaking hours after attending Supreme Court proceedings in Liberia, Conde said that Africa is facing hard political times as incumbents force themselves into the electorates. He said that Kenya is a leading example where the incumbent conducted elections and declared himself the winner.

"It is sad African countries are being used whenever an example of dictatorial forms of Government is needed. The African Union is trying to manage the current political situation in Liberia so that it will not go Kenya's way where Mr Kenyatta organized elections, conducted and declared himself the winner. He did not care about the the legitimacy of the office he purports to hold. This Union may not recognize his Presidency, we will not allow him sit in our proceedings because he does not represent Kenyan People''. Said Alpha Conde.

'We would have congratulated him if he was elected fairly. AU will not nature dictators under my Leadership.,' he added.
