To begin, don't brand me a conservative because I'm very much outgoing but within morally acceptable limits.
The most heartbreaking situtation in the country is the observation on how fast we are loosing our humane dignity and self-respect. For those who have managed to maintain their morals, I thank God for you. Those who think they have to outdo each other in exposing their nudity, shame on you.
For the outrageously immoral, lesbians, homosexuals and prostitutes. I don't know what to say.
In recent times, Nakuru has sprung to be one of Kenya's top entertainment towns and has even been baptized Naxvegas after the worlds alleged best entertainment joint, Las Vegas. Mombasa on the other end of the country is fast becoming a hub for prostitution and a haven for shooting pornographic movies. What do you call a woman who has sex with dogs?
On the same page, in the same article, who lied to our young men and women that nudity equaled popularity? Maybe in the world of prostitutes and porn artistes, it might be absolutely an in thing. But seeing our models and other artistes exposing their privacy all in the name of wanting to be the best is the latest worrying trend.
I think we can borrow a leaf or two from Huddah's early eviction from the Big Brother Africa - The Chase that our morals will always be with us, and are here to stay. Let's learn to use our brains more often that we do with our bodies.
