A DJ was charged yesterday with knocking off his girlfriend’s five teeth.
The court heard that Kelvin Otieno assaulted and injured Martha Wangari on January 18 at Onyonka estate in Nairobi.
He denied the charge before Kibera chief magistrate Judith Wanjala.
According to police records, Otieno disagreed with Wangari at the estate’s gate.
He is said to have hit her with a metal bar.
Wanjala ordered Otieno to be remanded at Lang’ata police station for one day.
The case will be mentioned today.
