RIP: Names of those who lost their lives in Lamu terror attack

The Kenya Red Cross has published a list of 49 people who were killed during the attack in Mpeketoni, Lamu on Monday and Sunday.

Some victims of the attack were buried today partly due to the limited capacity of the morgue in Mpeketoni which can only hold three bodies at a time. Families of the bereaved complained that they were yet to receive financial assistance to cater for burial expenses despite promises by President Kenyatta yesterday.
