The management of Thika United FC has been taken aback by reports that the Kenya Premier League is considering imposing a temporary ban on Thika Municipal Stadium ahead of the new league season.
The club’s officials are now considering a variety of options, among them shifting their home matches to Kasarani Stadium or Embu.
Head of Kenya Premier League’s stadia committee, Laban Jobita, Thursday confirmed that his team has recommended to the league body to temporarily ban the venue from hosting league matches. He said the field was bumpy with unclear markings.
