I'm not proud to be Kenyan, Frank Mtuh

Life in this country is becoming unbearable. Everybody seems to be busy campaigning. The government is doing nothing at all to better the lives of the common mwananchi.

For instance, as poor patients are dying of cancer and other complicated illnesses, the rich get treatment of such outside the country. The government is busy defending the corruption culprits instead of making cancer treatment affordable to the peasant farmer.

As the Youths of this country cry that there are no jobs, the president is busy rewarding rich tycoons with new jobs. The poor youths continue to languish in poverty.

In the self employment sector, the county government are becoming the enemy of the people. They discourage local investments by charging hefty taxes. How can I share my profits on a 50:50 basis with the county? Are they shareholders in the business?

The opposition on the other hand is busy making noise for nothing. Their greed for power is making it hard for them to face the reality. I pity the residents of this political state.

Somebody once said that it's better to be a dog in America than being a human being in Africa (Kenya).
