Bernsoft, a Kenyan IT company has jumped headlong into the social media craze by launching a social network in Kenya. They have named it "Bangaiza" which is Kenyan slang roughly translated to "have fun".
The site requires users to register with their personal details before allowing them to connect with other users.
The site looks and feels very much like Facebook and users can update their status, share messages and sort their friends.
Last time we checked the website, it was having connection problems.
