Seven were killed in two separate road accidents in Makueni and at Salgaa on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway Tuesday morning.
The accident on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway involved a collision between a lorry and a saloon car along the straight stretch at Shalom, four kilometres from Salgaa shopping center on the higway. Four people died at the scene of the accident.
In Makueni County, three people died at Mbuvo on the Wote- Makindu road as the driver of a private car lost control following a tyre burst.
Six people including a four-year old girl were injured in the accident, two of them critically.
