A Presbyterian University of East Africa (PUEA) student is on the run after allegedly killing her lover in Kikuyu, Kiambu County on Thursday night.
The woman reportedly stabbed the his boyfriend to death using a kitchen knife. The neighbours said they heard the two lovers quarrel the previous night before the body of the man was discovered dead on Friday morning, in the rented house where they were living together.
The deceased was a student at Mount Kenya University (MKU).
“The man was stabbed on the collar bone and bled to death,” said the Area police boss, Mutune Maweo. Mr Maweo also said police were still looking for the student who is now at large.
The body of the deceased was taken to the PCEA Kikuyu Hospital mortuary.
