Moi university students protest alledged rape, murder of student

Moi University students, Eldoret main campus Sunday morning took to the streets to protest alleged rape and subsequent murder of one of their students.
The body of the student identified as Ms Charity Maina, was found lying near one of the private hostels rented by the university to house students who did not get accommodation within the university halls.
At least one police vehicle was reported to have been torched during the demonstrations.
