Paying tribute to all women around the world

I believe these sentiments are not just mine
And others are thinking along the same line
A woman’s contribution is way above fine
In all aspects of our lives from foods we dine
To our livelihood, successes, webs we twine
Often the reason behind great men who shine
Despite being overlooked or treated like swine
Or facing great odds and forces that undermine

A woman is truly the solid pillar and spine
Of today’s society, a power to enshrine
A woman is a creation of beauty that’s divine
Her intimacy makes us swoon like red wine
Her loving takes us to cloud number nine
Even words many a times can fail to define
Her value, her worth, her ability to refine
Human nature in a world selfishly masculine
Making it better with a touch that’s feminine

A woman has a strength that nothing can confine
When defending her kids she’s a ferocious feline
A woman is a blessing and a precious gem combine
Not a sex object to play with or a sexual concubine
She deserves love and affection of highest incline
And a great respect that must never ever decline
Our wives, mothers, sisters and daughters.
