William Ruto urged to resign from office

31 Mar 2015

Chama cha Uzalendo national vice chair Richard Onsongo has urged Deputy President William Ruto and governors mentioned in corruption to resign.

His sentiments come a day after The Council of Governors vice chair Salim Mvurya said they support President Uhuru Kenyatta's fight against corruption.

Speaking to the media in Kwale yesterday, Onsongo said William Ruto should have been the first person to vacate office since he is facing a case of crimes  against humanity at the ICC.
