The Coalition for Reforms and Democracy leader, Raila Odinga is among the leaders invited to attend the swearing in of General Muhammad Buhari as Nigeria's President in May.

General Buhari, who has vowed to enthrone a regime of accountability and transparency in the management of Nigeria’s oil and gas sector, is set to take oath of office on the 29th of May after beating the incumbent Goodluck Jonathan in the past presidential election in Nigeria.

A source close to the former Kenyan Prime Minister indicated that he would honour the invitation and attend the function.

Other leaders expected to attend the swearing in ceremony include US Vice President Joe Biden on behalf of President Obama and Kenyan Deputy President William Ruto.
