Plight of Kenyan bank staff earning less than 10 thousands

19 Feb 2015

The price of Academic Qualifications is not 8 Pence. Neither should we think it is never a sacrifice. Parents sell their assets, Harambees in the village just to have their kin learn.

But after graduating how do you feel being paid Kshs. 9,580.00 as
you monthly salary bearing in mind this is before Helb Deduction? There is a bank which does this. Employee growth is never a priority. Their are staff who are as old as 2007 and have been performing well yet stuck at sales job.

The bank ought to know that they are wasting the youthfulness of this youths. When you suck out active blood in them what should we expect of this youths future?

A good employer thinks about growing it people. Promoting them and protecting their welfare. Do they know that by now they might be having families? By giving Ksh. 9,580.00 Are they ruining this life or loving it.

The sale staff are the ones running the banks revenues. They trade their bloods for billions of profits the bank reaps and report to the media. The best in return they can get is a tail-end meat. Directors and managers feasting on their fleshy kill as they watch.

They are called names when they fail to meet the targets, threatened with letters and even coaching at late hours. Do you know this so called big bellied guys given that chance to sell the bank can make "Super" Loss. They can't sell and they always swear that.

These staff who are expected to give the banks image to would be customers are the same who put on tarter since the pay is so minimal.

Surely what will someone do with 10K in Nairobi at this age and time? Someone is heartless here.

They have families to feed, to cloth and give medicine. The medical cover they have covers principal beneficiary and does not extend.

The other team members look at the as suspects and not like any other staff as they are not even allowed to enter into banking halls.

Shame to such employers.
