Four people are feared dead following a road accident at the Karabondi market on Katito-Kendu Bay road in Homa Bay County.
The accident, which occurred at around 11am on Friday, involved two passenger vehicles, one headed to Homa Bay and the other to Kisumu Town. The vehicles, which are reported to have been overloaded were engaged in a head-on collision.
Several other people are reported to have been seriously injured and are receiving treatment at various hospitals among them Miriu dispensary, Kendu bay sub-district and Gendia Adventist Hospitals.
